Some functions of forests

Now I will continue the last post was on the jungle.
Now I will post about the functions of the forest .
Forest has a variety of functions in the lives of the creatures on this earth are not only human , animal and plant matter is in need of plants for survival .
There are several functions of forest creatures to life on earth , including :

1 . Provide oxygen ( O2 )
Forest is a collection of trees that act as producers of oxygen . Green plants produce oxygen from the photosynthesis that takes place in the leaves of these plants . With the number of trees that a lot of course , the forest will provide sufficient oxygen supply requirement for life on this earth . If there are no forests , no matter oxygen and carbon dioxide increase.
2 . Absorb carbon dioxide ( CO2 )
Carbon dioxide is a gas that is harmful if inhaled in excess in humans . But on the other hand requires the gas plants to produce oxygen that is needed by the creatures of the earth .
3 . prevent erosion
Forests can also prevent erosion . The existence of large forest areas can also help prevent erosion or soil erosion . Soil erosion can be caused by water . Vast forests will absorb and hold water which is great . As a result of flooding and landslides can be in control.
4 . Coping with flooding
Low areas are often in flood the water needs to be planted with plants that have the ability evapotransipasi high . Plants that have this criteria is the number of plants that have leaves that much , so have stomata that much anyway .

JThank you
